Select Girls Fast Pitch Softball
Nebraska Venom girls fast pitch softball is a Select Softball organization based out of West Omaha serving eastern Nebraska including Omaha, Bennington, Elkhorn, Gretna, Fremont, Blair, Arlington, and the surrounding areas. We practice year round utilizing local fields as well as our own Indoor Private Training Facility located between Elkhorn and Bennington. We have multiple teams that compete at the Class A, Class B, and Class C levels depending on the best interest of the players. Our goal is to provide opportunities while competing at the highest levels of softball and focus on instilling discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, and integrity.

Our Story
At Nebraska Venom Softball, we believe every young woman deserves the chance to grow, compete, and succeed—both on and off the field. As a non-profit, low-cost program, we break down financial barriers so athletes can pursue their dreams without limits.
Our story is rooted in community. The Stortz Family donates team the use of a private, 8,000-square-foot indoor training facility at no cost, giving Venom teams an environment to train year-round and develop their skills.
Our mission goes beyond softball. We empower young women with confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills that prepare them for success in life. By fostering respect, accountability, and hard work, we help athletes become leaders in their schools, communities, and future careers.
For players aspiring to compete in college, we provide advanced skill development, recruiting support, and opportunities to showcase their talents at high-level tournaments.
As part of our commitment to giving back, each year we donate a portion of our proceeds to local non profits or shelters, helping support those in need within our community.

FEES: $800 - This includes ASA/USA/USSSA registration fees, insurance, GOSL league fees, tournament fees, as well as team access to our own Venom Private Indoor Facility.
